Wills are among the most important sources for family historians, containing invaluable information about family relationships. Tonight’s talk by Dave Annal will look at how to access wills and how you can use them to get a better understanding of what life was really like for your ancestors.
Whether your ancestors owned large swathes of land in the north of England or came from a more humble background in the West Country, the chances are that somewhere along the line, some of them will have left wills.
We’d love to welcome you to this 45-minute talk at 6.30pm (UK time) on 10 January, with 30 minutes for audience questions after the presentation. The talk will be recorded and available to watch for 7 days afterwards.
