Hi Ian,

I just wanted to check-in and see how you’ve been doing since you signed up to receive The Brick Wall Solution Roadmap (the “Roadmap”).

I know you’ve been struggling with a tough genealogy problem, your brick wall. My hope is that The Brick Wall Solution Roadmap was able to help you plan a path towards your solution.

If you haven’t realized, the Roadmap is a proven process for busting a brick wall. This process is the same for any genealogist but each genealogist has different skills and different raw materials to work with when they learn about the Roadmap. The emails over the last two weeks have talked about these skills and raw materials.

You’ve learned about:

·        Defining your brick wall

·        Note-taking

·        Why you need notes, reports, and a research log

·        Evaluating evidence (straw, sticks, or bricks)

Now that you’ve completed the Roadmap emails, you’ll start receiving The Occasional Genealogist Newsletter going forward. It covers topics related to the Roadmap as well as other genealogy topics.

Jennifer
